Sex Education Advisory Board (SEAB) Resources
This series of videos is designed to provide guidance for establishing and running a Sex Education Advisory Board (SEAB) in a local school district. This series will guide SEAB members through the process of creating an SEAB, understanding its purpose, the steps involved in its formation and the laws related to sex education in Michigan.
Each video linked below is accompanied by links to resources including a sample SEAB application, editable templates for a two-year report and parent survey and other helpful materials.
The series is designed to empower users to take the initiative and create, or restart, an SEAB that will help ensure the school district's sex education program is comprehensive, accurate and meets the needs of all students.
