About the Superintendent

Dr. Sean Williams

Dr. Williams serves as the Superintendent of Eaton RESA where he provides leadership to all RESA programs as well as support to local districts within the service area.

Dr. Williams previously served as the Deputy Superintendent for Eaton RESA. He joined Eaton RESA after serving as the Director of Student Instructional Services with Ingham Intermediate School District in 2017. He was also as an Adjunct Professor at Michigan State University.

He is a board member for the Capital Area College Access Network as well as an advisor for MICHAuto’s Michigan Mobility Talent Consortium.

He holds a dual Ph.D. from Michigan State University in K-12 Educational Administration and Educational Policy. Dr. Williams’s top publications focus on school principals and their role in policy implementation in the Journal of Education Policy and the Journal of School Public Relations.
